Flowers, botanicals, trees, and plants embody a prevailing assortment of species within my artistic expression. I have been pondering why this phenomenon occurs... While I could ascribe it to my upbringing, where my mother transformed our home with trees and together as a family we read "The Lord of the Rings," "The Chronicles of Narnia," and "A Wrinkle in Time"... I believe these explanations fall short.
Recently, during my exploration of a book on symbols, its pages serendipitously opened to the chapter on gardens and their representation of growth and life. This explanation has led me to connect it with imagination—the passionate desire to materialize one's imaginative realm in the tangible world, allowing others to witness and kindle their own creative reservoirs. In doing so, we evoke a sense of familiarity, igniting curiosity and, personally, a profound sensation of vitality.
